Today was the day I decided to get a little glammed up and take headshots, in the freezing cold. I woke up this morning to it snowing and I instantly knew I had to get photos while it was snowing. Usually I try to get headshots when it is warmer out because I hate the cold, but I forgot to do that with my busy summer. There were also so many photos that I loved and the whole process took about 35-40 minutes of me running back and forth posing with my second camera. The perks of having to cameras that you shoot with. I hope you enjoy the beauty of the snow in these images as much as I do.

You beautiful people probably want to know how I took my own headshots and didn't die in the cold. Well, the big secret? I used a tripod and my phone that can connect to my camera as a clicker. I am one who doesn't like the cold; yet I can't deny how beautiful the snow looks on trees during the winter. After living in the United States for 17 years, I have gotten used to Michigan winters and learned how to stay warm. I usually wear leggings under my jeans or any pants if I know I'm going to be outside for a long time. To keep my feet warm, I wear thick wool socks and sometimes even double up to keep my feet extra warm. and during a shoot, i'd be wearing a jacket but i'm not here because you know... got to look cute. If you guys want a full blog post on how I stay warm while taking photos of clients during the winter, let me know! Fashion is my second love!
