The Lillie Mae Experience
How do I receive more info or book a shoot?
Wonderful! So glad you choose us. Please fill out the form on our contact page and within 48 hours we will send you the Lillie Mae Brochure through Honeybook which has all of the details there is to know about the Lillie Mae Portrait Experience! Once you are ready to book, simply reply to that email with your desired date and we will send over the online booking contract and link to pay your deposit.

How far in advance should I schedule my session?
The earlier the better! We often book out weeks and even months in advance. Fall sessions are usually booked by Spring or Summer and Spring Sessions are usually booked during the Winter months. Book now because we get booked up fast! ​

When do I view my pictures?
About 1-2 weeks following your session we will send you a password protected gallery that has all your images so you can choose which ones are your favorites. Then we will set up a 30 minute ordering session to choose what products you would like.

What should I wear?
We want your photos to reflect YOU and since each girl or client is different, rather than telling you what looks good we have created a Pinterest board with lots of different outfit, makeup and hair ideas! The only thing we do suggest is not to wear too busy patterns as they can be distracting. We also ask you to steer away from trendy logos or sayings. We are always here to give suggestions, and we also want to see what you have picked out so we ask for you to text us your outfits prior to your session so we can also get a good feel for your style!

Should I get my hair & Makeup done?
We want you to not only look, but also feel your best which is why we ask of you to practice your hair and makeup look you wish to have at the session a week in advance. You can get it professionally done or do it yourself. We ask this so you can perfect the style you want and feel absolutely GORGEOUS! We do have a makeup artist we use, just ask and we can book your session with her.

I can’t wait to see my pics! Will I get a sneak peek?
We LOVE Sneak peeks!! And we are just as excited about your images as you are so we always send a sneak peek of an image or three that caught our eye within 2-3 days! I’m so nervous about my shoot! Will you give me pose ideas?
Absolutely! In fact, that’s what we’re known for! We will give you tons of ideas and directions throughout your session to help you feel at ease. We find the best photos to be the candid photos because that is when you are at your most relaxed state.

What if there is bad weather on the day of my shoot?
Don’t worry, we always leave 2 days open during the week for reschedules. We will notify you asap if we do have to reschedule, however we usually only reschedule if there is either a 50% or higher chance of rain, OR if it’s colder than 40 degrees out. If it’s overcast don’t worry your pictures will still look amazing!

How long does it take to receive my images?
Once your session has been booked, your beautiful images will arrive within 2-3 weeks, however wedding galleries take 6-8 weeks and up to 10 weeks during busy season.
